Who we are
At RedZone Mentoring, we believe that one positive relationship can change the entire trajectory of a young person’s life.
We are a grassroots mentoring initiative rooted in compassion, community, and consistency. Founded by a lifelong advocate for youth development, RedZone exists to connect caring adults with young people who need guidance, encouragement, and support.
Our Story
RedZone Mentoring was born from personal experience, from the understanding that mentorship isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up.
After years of coaching, community service, and mentoring in formal and informal ways, I saw a clear need: too many youth were falling through the cracks without someone in their corner. I started RedZone to change that, to help young people recognize their value, build life skills, and reach their potential.
Our name comes from a sports metaphor. In football, the “red zone” is the final stretch before scoring, where pressure is high, focus is essential, and support is crucial. That’s what we aim to provide: a steady hand during life’s most critical moments.

Who We Serve
We support middle and high school students—especially those facing tough circumstances—by pairing them with adult mentors, providing monthly life skills workshops, and offering team-building experiences that build confidence and community.
Why It Matters
Too many kids are navigating life alone. RedZone stands in that gap with mentorship that’s real, relational, and rooted in care. We’re small, but we’re mighty—and we’re just getting started.
